Our Story
Every story has moments that shape it. Ours is a story of love, faith, unexpected trials, and God's unwavering faithfulness.
We met, fell in love, and built a life centered on Christ. After getting married, we dreamed about the future, celebrated life's milestones, and welcomed our beautiful son into the world. Like many young families, we were excited about what God had in store for us.
Then, on September 9, 2024, everything changed.
Just minutes after dropping our five month old son off at daycare, Qieana was involved in a devastating car accident that left her with multiple broken bones and a severe traumatic brain injury. Doctors weren't sure what the future would look like, and our lives changed in an instant.
The months that followed were filled with uncertainty. There were surgeries, intensive care, rehabilitation, and countless days when progress seemed almost impossible to see. Qieana lost many of her memories and even her ability to speak. Every small step forward became something worth celebrating.
But through it all, one thing never changed: God's faithfulness.
Our family, friends, church, medical team, and an incredible community of people around the world surrounded us with love and prayer. Those prayers carried us through some of our darkest days and reminded us that we were never walking this journey alone.
One of the most unforgettable moments came after more than 200 days of silence when Qieana spoke again. Hearing her voice was a miracle we will never forget. It wasn't just a milestone in her recovery, it was a reminder that God is still working, even when we cannot see it.
Since then, God has continued to do what only He can do. Every therapy session, every new step, every regained strength, and every answered prayer has become another chapter in a story that belongs entirely to Him. While recovery continues each day, we celebrate every victory, no matter how big or small.
What began as our private journey has now become a mission. Through videos, speaking engagements, interviews, and everyday moments, we openly share our lives in hopes of encouraging others who may be facing impossible circumstances. Whether you're walking through illness, caring for a loved one, navigating marriage, or simply searching for hope, we want you to know that you are not alone.
Today, our community has grown to more than one million people across our social media platforms. What started as simple updates has become a global family united by faith, prayer, hope, and encouragement. We are deeply grateful for every person who has prayed for us, supported us, and walked alongside us throughout this journey.
Our story is not ultimately about tragedy. It's about God's faithfulness. It's about a marriage strengthened through adversity. It's about choosing hope when circumstances say otherwise. It's about believing that no situation is beyond the reach of God. And it's about loving in sickness and in health.
